Software Developer

What you will do

• Build web applications, APIs, and data models that match how the client’s team actually works.
• Connect to CRMs, ERPs, accounting, payments, files, and industry tools through APIs, events, or careful sync.
• Add the missing screens: dispatch, quotes, job status, dealer catalogs, approvals, and reporting.
• Write tests, handle auth and roles, and keep changes small enough to review and reverse.
• Ship behind the monthly request list: one useful improvement at a time on Build, more capacity on Growth and Scale.
• Support what you ship. Hosting and maintenance are part of the job, not a later team.

What you bring

• Professional experience shipping production software that other people depend on.
• Hands-on work across the stack: TypeScript or similar on the interface, a real backend, and a real database.
• You have used existing business systems as a user or integrator, so you do not treat every problem as a new app.
• You already use AI coding tools with discipline: you generate, then you read, test, and simplify.
• You can take an imperfect brief, ask the two questions that matter, and start building the first slice.

AI-first, in practice

• AI is how you research APIs, sketch implementations, and catch mistakes. It is not how you avoid understanding the system.
• You can implement a model-backed feature: structured output, tool calls, retrieval, or a review queue.
• You care about latency, cost, and failure modes when a model is in the path of real work.
