What we collect
When you book a consultation we collect your name, work email, company, role, optional phone number, consultation focus, current systems, the operational problem, the desired outcome, your time zone, and the chosen meeting time. The contact form collects your name, work email, optional company, topic, and message. Job applications sent to career@upperplain.com include whatever you choose to send, typically a name, email, work history, and examples of systems you have used or built. Server logs and booking-attempt records may include IP address and user agent. We do not sell this.
How we use it
To reply to a contact message, to review a job application, to reserve a consultation, send confirmation and calendar files, prepare the specialist, operate a platform if we work together, and keep the site reliable. Bookings are stored in a Turso database. Email may be sent through Resend when that key is configured. A hashed token in your confirmation email lets you cancel or reschedule without creating an account.
Your data on a platform we host
Operational data you put into a platform we run is yours. You can export it. We process it to host, back up, and improve that platform while you are subscribed. We do not train public models on it.
How long we keep it
Consultation records are kept as long as needed to run the session and for a reasonable business record. Cancelled bookings remain as a history of the slot. Platform data follows the life of the subscription, then the export window in Terms.
